The Dawn Of Blue Lagoon In Iceland

These pictures show how global warming is affecting a glacier in Iceland...

The Breidamerkurjokull glacier in Iceland has raced in from the mountains, smothering a shimmering lagoon that sits at the edge of the Atlantic on the country's south coast

.here's the lagoon in 2008, before it became filled with glacial ice...

..and here it is in June 2009, filled with icebergs.

The worrying change in conditions means the lagoon is now full of melting glacial ice that is causing gallons of additional fresh water to flow into the sea

The glacier measures a staggering 60 miles long. Its surge into the nearby lagoon has now been ongoing for two months and is showing no signs of stopping as gigantic blocks of ice back up and fill the water basin.

For 30 years professional photographer Ragnar Sigurdsson has been taking pictures of the stunning area of natural beauty which has been given national park status

"I have never seen anything like it since I started coming here," he said. "It is perfectly natural for a glacier to move. They tend to recede or advance in cycles but this time the tongue of the Breidamerkurjokull has come all the way down into the lagoon"

Ragnar, 51, from Reykjavik, said: "There is no threat of a disaster. The rate that the water rises, it would take more than 50 years for it to take the bridge but people in the area still feel it's global warming that's doing it. The end result is this extra freshwater is pouring into the sea at an alarming rate"

Despite the frozen look of the pool from afar, the ice is gradually melting - increasing the overflow of the lagoon into the sea.

Don't worry it's not surrounded by glacier or under a huge avalanche.It is a normal view of this daily transport vehicles

The driver manage to stop the bus at the bus stand. But I can't see the Bus stand!

HARRY Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has confessed in a frank interview to a gay magazine - he is a Liberal Democrat.

The handsome actor - who turned 20 yesterday - appears on the latest cover of Attitude and inside reveals his true political feelings.

He tells of his deep dislike for Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Tory leader David Cameron.

The multi-millionaire also tells how he grew up surrounded by his parents' gay pals and hates anyone with a homophobic attitude.

Radcliffe - who is not gay and is dating actress Laura O'Toole - said: "I just loathe homophobia. It's just disgusting and animal and stupid and it's just thick people who can't get their heads around it and are just scared.

"I grew up around gay people entirely. I was the only child in my class who had any experience of homosexuality or anything like that."

The actor - who battles soul-sucking Dementors as the boy wizard and is currently starring in Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince - said he supports Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg because the other parties offer nothing to young people.

He said: "I rather like Nick Clegg. At the next election I will almost certainly vote Lib Dem.

"If all the people who liked them voted for them you could change politics overnight and we could have a proper three party system."

Asked about Gordon Brown he said: "Paul Merton said, and I agree with him, 'it's a tragedy that this man has waited all his life to do this job - and now he finds out he can't do it.'

"I don't like the New Labour thing. I never experienced the optimism of New Labour, I was too young but I hear everyone was up and it was fantastic. I've only seen the bad years of it."

Radcliffe's opinion on David Cameron is no more positive.

He raged: "No! No, no, no, no, no! David Cameron is barely distinguishable from Tony Blair."

He added: "I think the reason why people don't vote is because the politicians are all so central now, it doesn't seem to matter who you vote for."

He also blasted the BNP who won two seats in the recent Euro elections, saying: "I hate any type of prejudice."

Bank Details Of 40 Million People !!.

THE bank details of 40 million people have been reportedly recorded by a former British cop who plans to charge victims to see whether their details are available.

Colin Holder, a retired detective, has spent more than $324,000 scouring the internet for stolen personal bank details of millions of people.

Credit card details, bank account numbers, home addresses and PINs are all available according to Mr Holder.

It is not known how many Australian details are stolen.

The data comes into criminal hands as result of “phishing”, where internet users are duped into revealing over their key details.

Mr Holder claims the highly sensitive information is readily available and traded over the internet.

"About six months after I retired, I was contacted by an old source who said he was seeing a vast amount of credit card and other personal data being exchanged between criminals, and what could he do with it,'" Mr Holder told.

Mr Holder has since created a website- www.lucidintelligence.com - where people can search to see whether their details are for sale.

He said he will only charge those whose details have been stolen.

"This project is costing me £6,000 a month to operate, and I'm only charging to help recover those costs," Holden said.

"In 90 percent of cases, the searcher will never have to pay a penny."

Lloyd Borrett, an internet security expert and marketing manager at Australian anti-virus company, AVG, said users have to be vigilant with their private details.

“The key thing all of mailware is that they are always trying to slowly rip people off, gathering parts of their identify and information of the person, whether it be bank records, tax file number, phone numbers, everything,” Mr Borrett said.

He said AVG users around the world reported 560 million “mailware events” in June alone proving the threat to users.

Mr Borrett said internet users needed up-to-date anti-virus software to combat new mailware and virus attacks.

“If you think someone might have your details, contact the bank and change them, if you think about it the bad guys have got contacts and they can do far more that we think,” he said.

He even copies some of Spider-Man's best moves, hanging upside down and jutting out at a 90 degree angle.

Jyothi said: "I began to climb for fun at the weekends and came to the famous fort here at Chitradurga to entertain the crowds, especially on Sundays.

"I love to see their faces when I position myself upside down and hear them holding their breath for my safety.

"My ability to see the foothold that others can't is proof to me that I was born to climb.

"My strength and hand speed are the tools that set me apart from other climbers."

He added: "These climbs go up to 300ft.

"They are physically testing and dangerous, but I want to move on and climb buildings and mountains."
